Noob Experiment Warzone Potato Mode and Accessibility Settings

Performance and UI tools from the September window, tested before a badge run.

Potato Mode and Settings

Potato Mode is the performance preset community trackers list for the Accessibility Update window from about 11 September 2026. Players search it because City plus VFX plus a 10-player lobby turns weak devices into slideshows. This guide is how to treat Potato Mode, UI Scale, emotes, Noob Servers, and region / skill selectors without inventing FPS numbers or keybinds the client has not shown you yet.

If the settings panel is still missing those labels, play the live modes anyway. Easy Mode, Boss Fight, and Sandbox remain the official feature list as of 20 August 2026. Do not sit in the lobby waiting for a slider.

Potato Mode — what it is for

Potato Mode is a low preset. It is not a secret damage buff. It is not a script. Anyone selling a “potato FPS executor” is the reason the scripts hub stays empty. Turn it on in settings, then spend five minutes in Sandbox on the kit you actually main. If Guest Helicopter rockets become hard to lead, or Aerial Boombox Troop lasers become harder to read, you learned something useful before a badge run.

Test Potato Mode before Boss Noob and before a 1.5X Easy farm. Switching presets mid-finale is how you lose the street. If the preset makes aim worse than the stutter, turn it off and host a smaller private server instead. Ten players are a graphics tax. Two friends are not.

UI Scale Slider

Trackers list a UI Scale control in the same window. Use it when the Codes field, shop portraits, or ability bar sit under chat. The controls page still will not invent WASD charts. It will tell you the Codes control is on the left. If that control is unreadable, scale the UI before you decide the game has no Codes button. Redeem from the Codes Hub once after you can see the field.

Laptop players and ultrawide players both benefit. Screenshot the slider position if friends argue later. There is no official “correct” percent.

Emotes

Emotes are social toys. They are not Screw farms. They are not Easy Mode skips. Do not spend a 1.5X window emoting in the lobby. Farm twenty waves. Dance after the badge. If an emote wheel covers the ability bar, close it before wave 18.

Noob Servers and skill selectors

Noob Servers language points at friendlier or dedicated new-player lobbies. Region / server skill selectors point at filters. Confirm the labels in your client. A selector is not Medium Mode. A Noob Server is not a private server you host yourself. If the browser still shows the normal Roblox list, use private servers the way the Getting Started path already teaches: smaller split, same 20-wave Easy clear, 50 Screws.

Skill selectors can also hide you from coordinated wedges. If you are trying how to beat Medium Mode, do not filter yourself into a tutorial lobby by accident.

Dual Blaster and Guest Mech polish in the same window

Accessibility blurbs also name a Dual Blaster Large Noob full rework and Guest Mech moveset work. Those are combat notes, not Potato Mode. After the window, re-test those kits in Sandbox on both high and potato presets. A rework plus a low preset can hide a telegraph you used to see.

A ten-minute settings loop

  1. Rejoin after a title change so you are not on a stale public server.
  2. Open settings. Find Potato Mode and UI Scale if they exist.
  3. Sandbox your main kit for five minutes.
  4. Redeem codes once if the field is readable.
  5. Host a small private Easy run, not a 10-stack, if the device still stutters.
  6. Only then attempt Boss Noob or Medium.

Write the date you first saw each slider. Official calendars are thin. Your note is the calendar. Share a settings screenshot on the community Discord if you want this page to drop a hedge.

Potato Mode is a readability tool. It does not beat City for you. Pair it with a legal shop skip and a 20-wave plan, and the slideshow stops being the boss.
